Frequently Asked Questions

Wedding Dress Appointment Questions

Do I need to have an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

Appointments are required to provide the one-on-one attention you deserve! If you are in the area unexpectedly, always feel free to stop in or call last minute. We do the best we can to accommodate walk-ins or last-minute inquiries. However, Saturdays are commonly booked two weeks in advance.

What happens during my 90-minute appointment?

Each 90-minute appointment begins with a consultation between you and your personal stylist, followed by a tour of our store to help you feel comfortable and inspired. During the tour, you and your stylist will select your favorite gowns guiding you to the discovery of your dream dress.

What is the price range of your wedding dresses?

Our special order wedding dresses range from $1,300 to $4,000, with the majority priced between $1,800 and $2,500. At the start of each appointment, your stylist will ask your budget to respectfully work within your price range. Transparency is extremely important to us. If your dress selection requires additional fees or add-ons, we will disclose that before your final decision is made.

Please note: Alteration costs are not included in the price of our dresses.

When should I order my wedding dress?

Standard ordering time for our wedding dresses is up to six months. Longer lead times may apply during select trunk shows or for custom Martina Liana orders.

Once your dress arrives, we recommend allowing two to three months for alterations. For this reason, we suggest ordering your wedding dress at least nine months before your wedding date. However, it's common for brides to place their orders 10 to 12 months in advance for peace of mind.

If you're working with a shorter timeline, don’t worry—rush options and off-the-rack styles are available.

What is your wedding dress off the rack selection?

For quicker wear dates or budgets under $1,000, make an appointment to see the off the rack selection. From our year-round selection, brides can find a variety of styles ranging in sizes 10 – 22 that can be purchased and brought home that day. In addition, most are priced under $1,000, starting as low as $299. The selection is always changing, but on average there are over 40, on trend styles to choose from.

What size wedding dress samples do you have in store?

Our samples range from sizes 8 – 24. The average selection is 10 – 16. Our plus size selection is continuously growing, but currently over 60 styles will be found in sizing 18 – 24.

If a sample gown does not fit properly, our expert stylists are trained to make adjustments. They will either clip the gown for a closer fit or use privacy panels to ensure comfortable and confident try-ons.

What undergarments should I wear?

Your stylist will be in the fitting room with you to assist with getting in and out of the wedding dresses. For this reason, we recommend wearing undergarments you feel comfortable and confident in.

Most of our gowns are designed with built-in bra cups and internal structure, so additional shapewear is often not necessary. However, if you plan to wear shapewear on your wedding day, we encourage you to bring it to your appointment to get the most accurate feel for each dress.

For sanitation purposes, we kindly ask that all brides wear some form of underwear.

There's no need to bring heels—we use elevated pedestals to give you the best view and silhouette of each gown.

Who should I bring?

Bring the people who matter most! We want your shopping experience to be memorable and shared with those who truly support and celebrate you.

Our largest viewing area comfortably seats up to six guests. If your appointment is scheduled on a weekday or in the evening, we may be able to accommodate additional seating—just let us know in advance.

When deciding who to invite, consider: Whose opinions matter most? Who do you want standing beside you in your “I said yes!” photo?

If you plan to bring a group of 5–6 guests, we kindly ask that you book early, as space is limited.

What designers do you carry?

Other common Questions:

Do you have in-house alterations?

We do not offer in-house alterations, but we work closely with a select group of trusted seamstresses who specialize in wedding dresses and formalwear.

Please note: All alteration referrals are separate businesses from Raffiné Bridal and are an additional cost. All appointment inquiries, price estimates, and any other alteration questions must be directed to the alteration’s business.

Do you have accessories?

Yes! We offer a wide selection of bridal accessories, including veils, hairpieces, jewelry, straps, and belts. While most of our accessories are designed with brides in mind, formalwear customers are also welcome to shop from our extensive jewelry collection.

Please note that many veils are special order items. We recommend allowing 6–12 weeks for delivery.

How do you pronounce Raffiné Bridal?

Ra-fin-nei Bridal, which translates to “sophisticated bride” in French.
